Welcome to our Kitablog!!
Before we get started, let me introduce you to the website and the blog!
Let us make a short introduction first! My name is Hanson and I’m working with my funniest but laziest partner on earth, Haoxuan. You might assume you are now talking to two smart IT guys who built such a wonderful website. Unfortunately, you are absolutely wrong. Can you imagine that two high school students created and designed this fascinating website all by themselves? (Although it took us three months and we have crashed out more than 1000 times).
Anyways, all jokes aside, let’s get down to our business. We are two normal students in Garden International School KL who are fascinated with the rich culture and history of our home country. We have to admit that the motives that drive us to build this blog are complicated. However, our first and foremost reason for doing this is to create an online platform where everyone from every region of the world can publish their unique views on Malaysia. No matter if you would like to write a 200 word comment on Hokkien Mee shops in Penang, or you are willing to share your ideas on the current politics in a 1000 word article, every type of view is welcomed here. We really hope the inclusivity of Kitablog can mirror the cultural diversity of Malaysia.
For our aspiring writers or anyone who would like to share their views on Malaysia, you are more than welcome to submit your own work to us. There will be no process of selection before we start to receive a huge number of works. But here are some rules you need to follow.
- Keep it Safe & Respectful: No hate speech, harassment, personal attacks, explicit content, nudity, or graphic violence.
- Original Content Only: Submissions must be written by you. Plagiarism or copying content directly from other sites is strictly prohibited.
- Respect Privacy: Do not post private personal information (like phone numbers, addresses, or private photos) without permission.
- No Spam or Pure Self-Promotion: Avoid heavy sales pitches or spammy affiliate links in the main text. You are welcome to share your personal blog or social media link in the dedicated URL field!
